WebI love the FX6 and know what you mean, try doing this. (in the instruction manual) While the Fx6 is running, close the intake valve and leave the output open for about 15-20 seconds. Then close the output valve. What you will have done is pump enough water out to ensure you can service it without mess. Works like a charm too.
